Quality of refurbished New 3DS XL from Nintendo store

Hello all!
I bought a refurbished red New 3ds XL from Nintendo today- what can I expect from the quality of it? I did a bit of research beforehand and it seems generally they come in excellent condition. Was going to do more research but I jumped the gun in case stock ran out or the store closed due to covid (hoping there’s no problems with shipping).
Also, I used to have a 3ds but it broke 3-4 years ago- had lots of themes and stuff I bought, since I’d be logging into the same account would I be able to re-download the themes?
