Hey y'all anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Whenever I start a game or app the wiimote disconnects from the console and won't reconnect until I turn the wii console off and back on again. My current remedy is to press the Sync button on the remote when the screen is black and then the button on the console when the game starts. No solutions online have worked so far. :(
