Digimon World 2003 - Did anyone find a way around the constant crashes on PSP?

[Released: 2004] The PSP is the only handheld console to use an optical disc format as its primary storage medium. Other distinguishing features of the console include its large viewing screen and robust multi-media capabilities.

Digimon World 2003 - Did anyone find a way around the constant crashes on PSP?

I'm trying my best to get this game to run, but it's not cooperating with me. I have a rough 50% of a crash to a black screen and stuck sound whenever I load a new map.
Has anyone wrangled this game into submission yet?
