Anyone got a dumb guy’s fix for a broken volume switch?

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Mine only works when it wants to. I’ll slide up and down until I get some volume (usually maxed) then have to repeat to turn it off. No In between. It’s almost to where it won’t function at all anymore and it’s just stuck on one setting
