Free Borderlands 2 DLC that ties into Borderlands 3 leaked

A Steam listing briefly appeared last night for a new piece of Borderlands 2 DLC titled Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary.
According to the description (via Resetera), the free DLC will set the stage for Borderlands 3 and sees Sanctuary under siege as toxic gas poisons Pandora. Players will get to fight new bosses, explore new areas, and earn some new loot, which will include a new rarity tier above legendary.
In addition to the above, the DLC will increase the maximum level cap to 80 and allow players to automatically boost new characters up to level 30.
Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary is reportedly set to launch on June 9th, which is the same day as the Microsoft press conference. Borderlands 2 is currently free on PlayStation Plus and heavily discounted on Steam for players looking to jump in before the DLC launches.
The next entry in the series, Borderlands 3, will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC from September 13th.
