Wii VS Gamecube on a CRT TV

I already posted a question about whether I should get a GameCube or a Wii for exclusively Gamecube games (I already have a Wii U for Wii games). I got responses from both sides, mostly in favour of the Wii. One big plus for the Wii seems to be that games look better than on a Gamecube. The only problem is that I don’t think I’ll be able to use component cables, since I’ll be playing on a CRT TV most of the time. I’m going to ask the question again. Which should I get for Gamecube games? A Wii or a Gamecube?
