N2dsxl vs N3dsxl

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

N2dsxl vs N3dsxl

Is there any difference on how games work on them, like frame rate and general performance?
What about battery replacement? I know it's difficult to change it on the N2ds xl but what about one the n3ds xl?
