OTG does not mean all USB drive support?

OTG does not mean all USB drive support?

I have tried two different OTG adapters with Bleemsync 1.1. Tried several 8gb and 32gb drives that work perfectly. What doesn't work is two different 128gb PNY drives. I tried fat32, exFat and NTFS. I thought that OTG meant compatible with everything?
