[Released: 2006] Along with early models being fully backward compatible with all Gamecube games, the system introduced the "Wii Remote" which added a physical side. The Wii has sold 100.04 million consoles worldwide.

Wii Homebrw question

So I just got a new Wii after my old one stopped working, and I've been thinking about Homebrewing it so I can play emulators/mods on it. Is there any way that this can screw up the Wii? It only cost 10 dollars so it doesn't matter too much but I'd rather not have to buy a new console.
