Running Atomiswave on a standard resolution cabinet

Post by Atomiswave »

I know this is very simple, but it seems many people interested in AW are unsure if they will be able to run it in their existing cabinet. The answer is YES, most likely. The AW motherboard has a DIP switch to toggle between standard resolution and high resolution. If your cabinet has a standard monitor, just flip the switch to the corresponding resolution and you're good to go.

Remember that the AW is usually too bright in most regular JAMMA cabs in low-res mode, so if your cab has a brightness control you'll probably have to use it.

Oh, yes. Good point. The AW is VERY bright. Infact I had to turn my RGB settings way down as well. Thanks!
