Why is Sega rally 2 so desirable all of a sudden?

Lately, I've been wanting to pick up Sega rally 2 for my dreamcast, but I've been having a hard time acquiring one for a reasonable price. I remember one or two years ago you could easily score one for under 25 eur (including shipping) and there was always a listing selling one, but now all of the reasonably priced ones sell out in an instant and I'm not paying 50 eur on eBay for a (pal) copy. What happened? Why is it so desirable all of a sudden?
