Tempest power supply

I have a Tempest upright arcade with what looks like mostly original parts.
Until recently, it was working well, but occasionally some of the vector graphics would disappear partly or completely. I could still hear the game and it played like normal. Usually restarting it would take care of the problem. But then it got worse and worse until nothing would come on including the sound. When I first started to look at the boards, there was still a red light on the PCB, but now there is nothing...
