Help playing a Win 95 game with the original CD

Hello! I'm new here. I already tried browsing the subreddit but I'm still not sure, so sorry if this is a dumb question.

I recently got a copy of Terratopia (in the original CD) as a gift. It's the first game I remember owning and I would love to play again.

The game asks for Windows 95, but I have Windows 10 and no chance of getting my hands on a Windows 95 machine. I tried using this to emulate win95, but it won't read the CD at all. I read about virtualbox, but I'm not sure if that would be the way to go. Would it be better to create a ROM from the CD? What would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
