Display recommendations

I am looking to setup an edge detection mechanism in an industrial environment for which I planning to use a raspberry pi 5. However, I am not sure how to display my output (4 character output). I see several display screens available but they are too costly and seem to be doing more than what is required. What type of displays should I look for?
