Options for Pi 5 power supplies?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

My country is currently having a shortage of the official 27W power supply for Pi 5. Right now I need the Pi 5 to run Ubuntu and work with Robot Operating System (ROS). I will be using the GPIO pins, both the camera connectors and HDMI.
  • Based on these, are there any power supplies that is enough to power this? What is the minimal 5V XA I can use to run it decently with just one camera and HDMI?

Outrageous intrusive thoughts I had 1. Using an "external switching power supply regulator (UBEC 5V 5A)" and hooking up a type C connector to it which will run off my 3S 5000mAh LiPo battery. 2. Using my bench power supply limited to 5V 5A.

If possible, please make a list of the potential power supply alternatives. Thank you so much for reading it all.
