My SNK Neo Geo SC 19 4 might be suffering some kind of power supply issue.
For about three weeks it started to not power up. I turn off the power unit and after a minute turn on the power unit and at second attempt it powers up. Works as expected. It might work for an hour or more, nothing to notice. However, after 4 ou 5 hours with power turned off the same cycle repeats. Only fires up at second attempt.
I already removed the monitor for a revision and removed the MVS 4 board but the issue detected remains.
I pictured the power supply from above and front. I suspect about the power supply as it has a lot of capacitors inside and maybe those are without juice, giving this is a mid nineties arcade. Should I go ahead with repair, maybe changing the capacitors?
Any ideia, feedback, is welcome.
I love so much this arcade and I want to keep it fully functional and as much original as possible even with all those scars and marks acquired over time.
