Buying a PS3 in 2024: what to look out for?

After breaking up with PS Plus I’m looking at getting back into some classics! Looking to find a PS3 again, and since that means looking at 10- or even almost 20-year old consoles (frick we’re old) I wanted to see if there are any red flags to watch for, online vendors or marketplaces to avoid, etc.

I know it’s always gonna be a bit of a crapshoot but I figure if there are big obvious ones to avoid that’ll at least give me a shot. Thanks!
