Purple screen solid red light help

Brought an NES recently, came with a game (twin eagles) that worked fine. Went onto aliexpress and brought a 216-in-1 cartridge, put it in the NES and the menu came up. On selecting a game, the screen went black, rebooted NES and retried, same thing happened, rebooted NES again and now can not get anything other than a solid purple screen (occasionally a very light pink). I have cleaned the cartridge and console pin connectors and my other game works fine. Help!
