The first gear you build in Enshrouded will start weak until you get better materials like Metal Scrap to improve your arsenal. New structures, items, and important tools can be built once you smelt the leftover metal found on the bodies of enemies defeated in the open world. Thankfully, you don't always have to fight to obtain this resource during your many adventures.
