Stargate CPU issue

[KLOV]

Having some weirdness on a Stargate.

Adjustment Failure screen comes up, I go to adjustments and get to the settings page. There is just says "Extra Ship Every" and a bunch of blinking lines on the screen.

NOTES:
No noticeable battery damage.
I installed the lithium battery mod.
I can play the game but unlimited lives and smart bombs.
I swapped each board (except the cpu I don't have an extra) with known working boards and no change.
I swapped all the socketed cpu chips with no change.
