Compatibility Issues with I2C on Raspberry Pi 5 | RP1 Chip

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I'm currently facing a frustrating issue that has me quite desperate. Despite extensive online research, I haven't had much success.

In my current project, I'm trying to use both the VEML7700 and BH1750 sensors, connected via the I2C bus to a Raspberry Pi. It should be almost plug-and-play, but it seems things aren't entirely compatible with the new Raspberry Pi 5.

I'm unable to reach any sensor over the bus. I'm relatively new to this, so I appreciate any tips I can try and implement. I hope to find a solution here.
