Need help with Geekpi Mini tower RGB fan

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I have been troubleshooting a new (Amazon) Geekpi Mini tower. I was initially having a problem with the OLED screen, but figured out that I had to run the pip install with --break-system-packages and then the rest of the instructions worked correctly.

Now, I can't get the RGB lights to work. I followed the instructions to "Build with SCons" but when I run "sudo SCons" nothing happens. There is one sentence that is probably what I'm not getting. "Make sure to adjust the parameters in main.c to suit your hardware".

I'm unsure what, if anything I might need to modify to make the lights work, or if I'm spinning my wheels on bad hardware.

Any help would be appreciated. I have emailed tech support, but I'm not sure how long it will take them to respond.
