PS3 Super Slim woes

I've been invested in my PS3 for awhile. Particularly Gran Turismo 5/6, MLB The Show 14 and Tiger Woods 11. Long long franchises/careers on my super slim but it's starting to not read discs. I'm on my second laser. Kinda wondering if I can transfer game save data to another machine altogether without starting afresh? Perhaps transfer this hdd to another machine? Bite the bullet and do another new laser?
