Opinions on if this HOT trans will work in chassis?

Hello,
I have a NeoTech nt-2501 with a shorted HOT and surprisingly haven't seen an in stock available replacement online and my local shop doesn't list a replacement. While at the shop I did pick up an NTE replacement for a Sharp Image chassis I have that also has a shorted HOT.
