Is the Xbox 360 worthit in 2024?

Hello, I’m looking into getting an Xbox 360 as I love the controller, the UI of it, and especially the older games for it. But I don’t know what I am able to do with it(as of 12/24/23). Is online still up? Am I able to use my current Microsoft account to login on it? Can I play with friends?

I also do not know which model is the best one to get as I know some of them get the red ring of death easier and some don’t get it all.
