Does anyone remember a Garou MotW Prototype patch that fixed the background glitch in Tizoc's stage?

[Released: 1990] Originally launched as coin-operated arcade machine, the Neo Geo Multi Video System offers owners the ability to put up to six different cartridges into a single cabinet.

Does anyone remember a Garou MotW Prototype patch that fixed the background glitch in Tizoc's stage?

Recently we are able to reprogram 161 in 1 carts to put new games on the cart. There are some limitations though, one being mrom sizes are limited to 256kb and srom limited to 128kb. This is because there is no SMA chip bank switching support. The prototype version of MotW did not use the SMA chip, so we can use that.

I found a patch on wayback machine that attempts to make the proto as close to the final as possible. The title screen is still white, not a big deal. The only remaining notable glitch is that Tizoc's stage has the background glitch still.

Does anyone remember a patch back around the 2000's that actually fixed this?

If anyone has a MotW set from neoragex 4x, please test. I couldn't find this set anywhere unfortunately.

You can see the glitch described in this blog post.
