Atari 2600+ with the european 32 in 1 cartridge

Hey, really like the 2600+. Because of nostalgia (it was the first game system plus cartridge i personally owned) i got the 32 in 1 on ebay. It plays the first game just fine, but turning it off and on again to cycle to the next game does not work. Anyone knows a workaround or am i just out of luck?
