Bought this Atari Jr at a flea market for 30 bucks, some dumbass removed the RF socket and replaced it with a 3.5mm and a composite mod glued (not soldered!) onto the pins. Took all that shit off, put an RF socket back in, clean solder, and the picture is grainy. I've tried different cables, moving the TV somewhere else, it hasn't helped. Anything I can do? Did I solder in the wrong socket? It's definitely a mono RCA socket, same pin number and shape.
