Total noob in cfw, is it gonna format my psv?

Hello, guys.. Im new in using reddit too, just a silent reader, so im sorry if i doing wrong thing with this post since its my 1st post..

I have my beloved psv since 2013, using 64gb memory card.. Few month ago, i find that my memory card is corrupted n unusable.. I looked online for replacement but price is still too expensive, so i consider to mod it..

What i want to ask, is it gonna format my psv like new?? I dont mind with save data, since i already have backup on my pc n ps+ (i can still use it after modded, right?) What i fear of losing is my Near history, it already had thousands of kilometers journey since i always take it wherever i go, n i traveled to a few countries too..

I know some ppl think its just a small thing n i wont blame them, but for me is a whole history n memories between me n my psv..
