Hydro Thunder VGA Issues

[Released: 1998] Born out of Sega's darkest hour to decide whether the company stays in the hardware business. Even though it didn't officially last long in the US, it was continued selling in Japan and spawned some great 2D Japanese shooters.

Hydro Thunder VGA Issues

Setup: - NTSC NA, VA (0) Dreamcast console - Hydro Thunder v1.0 (Blue Disc), NTSC NA - Code Breake code: 0f0963a4 00000009 - DC HDMI Adapter: BitFun-X - TV: Samsung Crystal UHD AU8000

All other DC import and local games I have played in VGA look outstanding, even the Midway games forced into VGA (NBA Showtime and NFL Blitz 2000). But Hydro Thunder loads, but very mildly shakes and the images is not stable (staying on for about 2 seconds, then going black for 1 second; what I can see of the game looks incredible) - I know these same observations have been reported in reddit prior. I have tried a *.cdi image called "Hydro Thunder [Re-release] (USA) DC", but the same issue persists. Since I am out of them 😔 does DC reddit have any ideas?
