I wanted a simple, low-power, offline handheld Chinese-English dictionary. The original intent was to help my kid with handwritten writing homework. Still need to make a case for it, but I'm pleased with how it's going so far.
It uses a 16mb knockoff Pico and is powered by Jasper Sikken's AEMLIC solar harvesting board and a 250F hybrid supercapacitor. The dictionary itself is a somewhat abridged version of CC-CEDICT.
