Raspberry Pi 5 and PI OS: Chrome Sync Troubles

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hey ! Im trying put my Raspberry Pi 5 to the test by using Pi OS for a month. The catch? No Google Chrome, which made account syncing a bit tricky. Here's my experience:

using Chromium isn't quite the same. This challenge led to creative workarounds for tasks I usually took for granted.

How do you handle the no Chrome account syncing limitations on Raspberry Pi?

Update: u/JamieDrone was the most helpful here with the solution

Install Pi-Apps, search “better chromium” and install it, it will give the option for user acct syncing

Pi-Apps install page https://pi-apps.io/

Worked straight away and solved my problem
