Anything like badges on the 3DS?

[Released: 2012] The WiiU is the first Nintendo console to support high-definition graphics and a controller which features an embedded touchscreen. Talk about the system which is backward compatible with Wii.

I have a modded New 3DS XL with an awesome custom home screen with badges and custom themes and stuff. Is there any way to do anything like that on Wii U? I don't want to change the theme bc I like the white, but is there a way to have custom folder badges or something? I know I could just make forwarders, but I already have all my VC games in folders so it would be easier to just have a badge on those folders instead of dumping the ROMS and installing them on emulators.
