xk3y xbox 360 red light

Hi, I'm getting ready to get rid of this xbox 360 slim with xk3y installed but I want to make sure everything is working correctly before I do. I have tested it out recently and everything seems to be working correctly, like pass through, loading games, xdg3 xgd2 have all played so far with no crashes. I was replacing the hard drive with a new one and noticed that there's a solid red light on the xk3y, I haven't had any issues with it working recently but I want to be sure it will be working...
