[Released: 2013] The PlayStation 4 will feature a simpler AMD processor, in hopes of attracting a broader range of developers and support for the system. Sony also plans to place more focus on social gameplay.

Hi, I've been unfortunate recently for my PS4 got hit by a lightning. I am wondering if I could tinker on the motherboard to replace a chip somehow, but I don't know if its possible.
I asked on some sites before and they said that it can't be done anymore. so I am posting here again to make sure of that before I put my 3.55 PS4 Under
