Finally got around to upgrading my storage…

I have been running a image database + APIs + a simple web front end in Node-Red for about 3 years on the same pi. As my dataset increases, the old Pi3 has realllly started to bog down.

I just upgraded the system to a pi4 8gb with a Nvram SSD. I really should have done this long ago, but the project kept getting put on the back burner. A lot of my challenges came from providing enough power to the disk @ boot up. This was solved by just buying a $40 hat off Amazon.

What’s the fastest speeds read / write speeds you have seen on a pi? I’m happy with this number, but I have to imagine people have broken this.
