Next Up From Stern Pinball: Venom

Stern Pinball released their latest “Stern of the Union” address, and right at the top was a teaser for their next game release: Venom. This is the same Vemon from the Spider-Man comic books by Marvel:

Designed by Brian Eddy & Dwight Sullivan, with Zombie Yeti art, the address notes that “a very limited number of Venom LE pinball machines” will be listed for ordering next week, but only All-Access members will be able to buy one. There are some posts from distributors already going around showing some pricing – one states “$6,999 [Pro]; $9499 [Premium]; $12,999 [LE]” and Pro models should begin shipping by next month, with September for Premiums and Sep/Oct for LE.

Oddly enough, this one has been a part of the rumor mill for over a year now; Everyone thought that when James Bond 007 was revealed that it was going to instead be Venom. Of course, this isn’t the first time that Stern has tackled the Spider-Man property (nor Marvel) but there isn’t much else we can say aobut this game until there’s more info.

It sounds like we won’t get the full reveal until next week so stay tuned for more.
