Will leaving games inside Gameboys lead to problems?

[Released: 1989] The Game Boy is Nintendo's second handheld system following the Game & Watch series. Despite many other technologically superior handheld consoles introduced during its lifetime, the Game Boy was a tremendous success.

Will leaving games inside Gameboys lead to problems?

So I own 2 Gameboys, advance and color, and my case is full so I usually just leave one game inside the system. Will this eventually lead to the games not working or the system having trouble reading games?
