Can't remote into pi after resetting my router

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I have a pi 3 B running Raspbian. I was setting up PiVPN to be able to remote into it from outside my home network, and whenever I would activate the VPN on the client it wouldnt actually establish a connection and I'd lose internet. I thought maybe ports were blocked so I went to router settings but the default login wouldn't work. I reset the router, went through the set up, and all the devices connected back to it like nothing happened. Except for now I can't remote into my raspberry pi anymore? I'm on the same network, the address of the pi is unchanged, xrdp says it is active.

Does anyone have any ideas for troubleshooting this??
