D-terminal vs s-video vs component cable

Post by /saturn »

I've recently acquired my first sega saturn. It came with a composite cable, but I'd like to upgrade. I'm not really sure which cable I should purchase. I've searched around and kind of concluded that their isn't much of a difference between using component and s-video cables. That's fine. I can't find information about comparing either of these cables to a d-terminal, as my tv has both D5 and rgb vga ports. Specifically, I'd like to reduce input lag but I'm not sure it is relevant here. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?
