NES Mini Classic - Hackchi 2 connection issues

I used an older version a while back and added some games no problem. I have since lost this data. I have tried downloading the newest version of Hakchi2, but I cannot get it to connect. I downloaded a copy of the original kernal (that I lost), but it will not connect via the instrucitons. It will not install driver, dump kernal, etc. Any thoughts?
