Unirom without PS2 install?

[Released: 1994] Sony entered into an agreement with Nintendo to develop a CD-ROM attachment, for the Super Nintendo. Due to contractual problems it was never released, and instead, a modified version was introduced by Sony called the PlayStation.

Unirom without PS2 install?

Post by /playstation »

I currently only have a PS One Slim and no PS2 or anything like a DexDrive to add the files to a memory card for the setup, but on the site: https://unirom.github.io/installation/ it does say you can do it with a boot disc and have that install to the memory hard itself? Has anyone else done this? I assume I just use my OG Ps1 disc for the swap trick and boot in then install? After this is done will I just keep the memory card in one of the slots to boot my backups? Thanks!
