GBC Q5 - What's your experience?

[Released: 1998] As suggested by the name, features a color screen. It is slightly thicker and taller than the Game Boy Pocket, which is a redesigned Game Boy released in 1996. As with the original Game Boy, it has an 8-bit processor and the custom Zilog Z80 central processing unit.

GBC Q5 - What's your experience?

Hey there r/Gameboy. I am looking to do a GBC Q5 installation sometime soon. What has been your experience with it? I have done a ton of other Gameboy mods so I'm not worried about the soldering or shell cutting. What kit did you use? What power source do you use? I am looking to stick with AAs rather than a USB-C mod because the LiPO batteries scare me and because with AAs at least I can swap them on my own.
