Power efficient power adapter

Post by /n64 »

Hey all, I’ve noticed my original Australian power adapter gets rather hot (even when system is off) at the part that plugs into the console. I’ve been looking for a replacement but all the ones I find are either no reviews OR positive ish reviews with people complaining the adapter gets hot.
I was wondering if there is a more power efficient adapter that gets less hot and even better that’s atleast not hot when not in use.
I’m in Aussie land so that would be optimal, but an adaptable one might be ok?
Cheers!
