Weird glitch with Monster Boy in Wonder Land with the Master System Adapter.

[Released: 1985] One of the most unusual features of the Sega Master System is its dual media inputs: one cartridge slot and one card slot. The card slot accepted small cards about the size of a credit card.

Weird glitch with Monster Boy in Wonder Land with the Master System Adapter.

Post by /markiiisystem »

I recently purchased a Master System adapter to use with my Sega Genesis and all of my games work fine with it, except for Wonder Boy in Monster Land.
The game loads up, and I can get past the Start screen, but then he rapidly turns left to right over and over with nothing else happening.
I'm using a Genesis controller but that seems to work fine with every other Master System game I have. The game also seems to be a PAL copy while my console is NTSC, but my other PAL games seem to work fine too. Does anyone have any idea what the fault could be?
