Raspberry Pi 3B+ XCloud?

Has anyone had any good luck with getting xcloud setup and working well on the 3B+? Running Raspbian OS Lite and got chromium launching in kiosk mode, but the stream performance is low, and even just navigating the game selections is really slow. I saw there is a media edition of chromium that performs better for streaming services but can't figure out how to launch that from cli so it can start at boot.
