Messing with RAM

Post by /nes »

So I’ve been messing with Zelda 2’s RAM with the Mesen emulator, and learned a good bit about how the NES handles inputs. The RAM value tends to be near the top of the cartridge’s internal RAM. For example, If I press the Up button on the controller, the RAM goes from 00, to 08 if I remember correctly. Zelda 2’s stats are stored at HEX 0770 to 077F, with each value being something else. HEX 0777 is used for atk power I think. Anyways, sorry for the long post, thought it would fit here.
