PSX or PSone?

[Released: 1994] Sony entered into an agreement with Nintendo to develop a CD-ROM attachment, for the Super Nintendo. Due to contractual problems it was never released, and instead, a modified version was introduced by Sony called the PlayStation.

PSX or PSone?

I'm at an impasse. I'm looking to get a Playstation 1 for my CRT TV, and I'm not sure which model I wanna get. I like the aesthetic of the PSX. However, I would also like to get the LCD attachment later on, but I know that's PSone only. Help??
