Burned disc swapping on PS1 not working

Trying to play metal gear solid using a burned disc, but it doesn't seem to be working.
I used this image on archive.org : https://archive.org/details/metal-gear- ... d-1-europe
I used the normal disc-swap method for scph-7502, and I managed to get to this screen: https://i.imgur.com/hhz2hTN.png
Immediately when swapping in the burned disc after it fades to the screen above, the screen turns to black and the disc starts doing this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WLjN9_ ... BHBAq/view (repeatedly speeding up and then slowing down)

Does anyone have any idea what's happening? Maybe a bad image?

Edit: Tried out image in retroarch and it works
