Any updates for the Bluray Drive for 4K Blu-ray’s?

I just got the 4K version of Nope on bluray to watch for the changing aspect ratio as it takes from the IMAX version.
Tried to get the 4k bluray to play twice and almost to the film and it froze and the second time it crashed on the menu.
Seems the Xbox One X and from what I hear the Series X as well doesn’t play nice with certain 4K Blu-ray’s….
Any updates on whether this will be updated in a firmware update or are they completely neglectful of a feature they sell the device on out of the box?
Considering they say it can play 4k it’s bull**** it includes caveats….
